Just a Few Notes of Upcoming Dates to keep in Mind:
Parents Club Meeting this Thursday, May 6th, at 6:30. Hope to see you there.
We have sent out a letter about the Community Calendar, check on
Birthdays, and if you need to make any changes. Please if you don't
want you child's name to appear on the Calendar please send the letter
back with that marked on it. Your can also email me back if that
makes thing easier. (or if you didn't get the letter)
We are planning to take the whole student body picture on May 12th,
since the original day is not looking to good weather wise. A reminder
will be sent out, at the beginning of next week.
If you have any questions, or thing that you would like brought up at
our meeting Tomorrow, please let me know.

Meeting Minutes
April 1st, 2010
Meeting Started: 6:40 pm
In Attendance: Jessica Poirier, Julie Thaler, and Julie Thompson
Secretary’s Minutes: Were handed out and emailed.
Treasure’s Report: Not Available at that time.
Honor Roll: The decision was made to add up the value that we would have given to the students that made the honor roll, and give them Gift Certificate redeemable at the Book Fair. If this system works then we hope to keep it around for the coming years. The last semester honor roll students will receive an ice cream party.
Avon: Info not available at this time. We do know the order has been place and that it should be arriving soon.
Book Fair: The theme this year is ALL YOU CAN READ DINER. A note with the activities and times that the book fair will be opened will be emailed to the teachers. Monday is preview day, and we will be having family night on Wednesday April 28th. We plan on serving hot dogs, fries and root beer floats. We will be setting up during vacation and the Sunday before we get back.
No Strings Marionette: Everything is set up and we hope that the kids have a great time.
RIF: Our last hand out will be held on April 14th before the kids go on vacation.
Run Away Pond: We will be doing a bake sale during the events in June. All details will be figured out at the May meeting and we will be sending out a letter to ask for help with baked goods.
Swimming Lessons: Organization on that has started and will be getting dates and times, as well as sign up sheets out to families soon. Funds for repairs to the dock were approved, and Richard will be taking care of this task.
Scholarships: We will be sending out an email to the people who said that they would help with this. The decisions will be made by the end of May.
Teacher Appreciation Week: Is May 3rd - 7th. We will send out an email to see if parents will make or bake something to bring in.
Field Day: A day needs to be decided on and we will get the rest of the details set at our May meeting.
Community Calendar: We will be setting a date and sending home a note for when we are having the school wide picture. A note will also go home checking to see if you still want your child’s name to appear on the calendar, as well as any other immediate family members.
